Fire on Sabon Gari Market again, for the Second time this year.

Sabon Gari market burns down again for the second time this year, the last one was four months ago,
The fire which started early Saturday morning, burnt down and destroyed shops in Sabon Gari, Kano.

 Eyewitness said the fire, which affected shops belonging to meat, fish and vegetables sellers, started around 5a.m this morning.

Men of the State Fire Service, were however,. able to control the inferno before it spread to other parts of the market.

When contacted, according to NAN (The News Agency of Nigeria), the State Director of Fire Service, Mustapha Rilwan, said the fire destroyed many stalls.

“The fire was said to have been caused by some people believed to have been cooking in the market,” he added
